We all have that friend whose house or apartment has the coolest, funky décor and wonder where they find all of those things that give a unique and fun sensibility to their home. Wonder no longer because we’ve found a place that has all of these things and more!
$10 will get you $25 towards purchases at the Seahorse Trading Co. in Northwood. Located on what is locally known as “Antique Alley” (1st NH Turnpike/Route 4) this charming shop will spark dozens of creative decorating ideas to help you add some flair to your home or office.
Seahorse Trading Co. is a collaboration among Lisa Finch, her husband Darren, and her lifelong friend, Julie Eifert. Darren has always had a passion for antiques and picking. Julie and Lisa have always seemed to love the same things - including old furniture, vintage finds and of course…the ocean. Here at Seahorse Trading Co. you will find treasures and furniture. Some of the furniture is antique. Some are antiques that have been resurrected and given new life with a few repairs and a paintbrush.
Julie and Lisa will also happily take a piece of furniture that you already have and perform a commissioned Shabby Chic Makeover on it. They are also available to perform Shabby Chic makeovers in your home or cottage.
If there is something in particular that you are hunting for, let them know. Darren attends many auctions all over New England (most recently on Cape Cod) and he will hunt until he finds that special piece for you!
