While it’s easy to push a shopping cart around a big box store and pull an anonymous pumpkin out of a cardboard crate, there is something much more satisfying about going out to the pumpkin patch on a crisp fall afternoon and choosing THE perfect pumpkin. You don’t need to be a Linus and hope that your Great Pumpkin will arrive. We’ve got a deal that makes it a sure thing!

$10 gets you $20 worth of pumpkin picking at J & F Farms of Derry. You and your family will explore the huge pumpkin field and find the perfect squash (Did you know that pumpkins are a type of squash?) for your 2016 Jack O’ Lantern! If you’d like more than one orange, smiling face to greet trick-or-treaters, feel free to get more than one. The $20 will be applied towards the cost of your pumpkin(s) after they are weighed.

A family owned farm since 1906, J & F Farms is operated by the Ferdinando family, Vincent and Miriam, and their four sons Francis, Philip, Barry and Bryan. The farm’s mission is to provide quality, fresh produce and all natural meats to the community. Open from May until Christmas, their farm stand sells farm fresh eggs, beef, fruits, and vegetables. Gardeners love their annuals, perennials, herbs, and bagged garden products. J & F Farms also sells a wide range of NH Made products, Christmas trees, wreaths, kissing balls, and more.

After you pick your pumpkin, stop by the free petting farm, get lost in the corn maze, or stop by the farm stand to say “Hello!” and check out some of the freshest, tastiest food in the Granite State.
