The 16th season of exciting Manchester Monarchs at the SNHU Arena begins on Friday, October 16th as the Monarchs go up against the Brampton Beast in their first match-up of the regular season. As one of the most entertaining, family-friendly sports franchises in the region, the Monarchs consistently give their loyal fans more than their money’s worth – game after game. Join them for their first game of the 2015-16 season as they kick off the 15th year in the Jungle for the Monarchs in Manchester! They will have a replica 2014-15 Calder Cup Banner giveaway for fans, an opportunity for all fans to have their pictures taken with the Calder Cup, and a magnetic schedule giveaway.

The Monarchs will host the Brampton Beast of the Eastern Conference’s North Division to kick off their inaugural season as the ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings. The Beast were founded in 2013 as the Brampton Beast, but played in the CHL. After the CHL folded, the ECHL accepted the Beast as an expansion team for the 2014-15 season. The name “Beast” won a fan contest by beating out nine other entries to name the franchise. Brampton is the only Canadian team in the ECHL.
